I think I may be getting this blog thing down.  Many thanks to nephew Jason who got this figured out and left instructions which I just found after 6 months.  And also thanks to Jim Radke for the previous photo.  He is a very talented man with his camera.  Now to figure out how to post this from Gmail to rid of these aol lines.  We were just realy to get rid of aol and we discovered we get XM radio over it and can listen to Bob Dylans Theme Time Radio Hour show.  We may never get rid of it now!

Bobs Latest Project

Bob has been hard at work on his latest CD project.  He’s got starts on over 20 songs that he has written or cowritten with our talented lyrist friend Gerald Lucas (alias G.)  He is recording on his Boss recording machine and then utilizing a MiniMac computer with Digital Performer software that our dear friend Jeff Cortazzo has contributed to keep the music alive. (Thank you Jeff!)   Bob has been quite the persistant trooper in figuring out the digital world.  The software alone has a 1000 plus page owners manual.   Jody Goodman has put down drum tracks on all the tunes.  Mark Allred has but down keyboards on several songs, Phil Croy has but guitar on several tunes, and Curly Joe Harper has contributed harmonica on 3.  Bob has talked with David Lackey about him and Otis contributing the bass notes, Mando Mark Chambers the mandolin parts, and Greg Spillman adding the cello.  Now for cosmic convergence of schedules.  We are blessed with many talented generous friends!

Bob and David and Greg are scheduled to play a house concert April 12 in Reed Springs which is south of Springfield.  This is a reall nice venue.  Jeanette and Bruce open up their home to give these house concerts a wonderfully warm feel.  Hope you can make it.
